Thank you for the birthday wishes and for reading Bree! There’s something about the imminent turn of the decade that makes you (and I mean me) think about where my life is going. Which brings me to your recent post about the value of quitting, or at least knowing when to quit. I resonate so deeply with this notion as I’m realizing that it’s time for a change. I have to carefully navigate how to do that as a single mom, but I also know that it’s necessary.
For now, life is good - thanks for checking in! I’m on vacation and visiting my ex-husband and his partner with my kids (our kids). It’s not a weird as it sounds! They’ve recently moved to New Brunswick, which is on the east coast of Canada. We just got back from a bike ride to the Atlantic Ocean only 10 minutes from their house.

You’ve got your finger on the pulse of health trends (pun intended!). I wonder if there will be more centenarians than ever before? I think that this is going to be a fabulous year for many of us kindred spirits here! I’m kind of getting into the groove of my ‘almost 50’ year.
And I love your goal of celebrating a 50th anniversary with your future husband! Maybe I can do the same. Why the hell not? Stranger things have happened. 😜
